We R Memory Keepers Precision Stamping Tool

Image
I'll be putting in a pre-order tomorrow for the new WRMK Precision Stamping Tool.  It's like another one on the market but don't know how different they both are from each other. View the video and if you're interested I'll put you on the list for their arrival in October! Cheers, Sheree The Rubber Room

BoBunny Farmers Market Card For Fall

Image
Good Morning! Here's the first official post of my new adventure!  I hope that what I post gets the creative juices flowing and you create something special as well. The BoBunny Farmers Market papers are beautiful!  Fall is my favourite season with everything changing it's colours before a long winter. With this card I've used vellum, glossy accents, Distress Inks in Lemonade and Wild Honey for the ribbon and Gathered twigs for all edges.  The vellum was embossed with a folder I've had for years and never use and then sewn by machine onto the background.  When it's a fairly small area to emboss, play with texture!  We all have many 'impulse buy' items in our stash and this is a great way to use them!  Use pop dots to add height in various ways and stickles or what ever you have to play with light. The bow was distressed with ink and then used a Penny Black stamp to add Gathered Twigs.  My photography skills have gone by the wayside so once I&

New Posts Coming Soon!

Good Evening Everyone! I am so excited about getting back into blogging!  I am working on some projects and should have the first one posted tomorrow night.  I will now be forced to complete everything instead of jumping to playing with 'new stuff' all the time.   The new BoBunny paper lines are so beautiful and there's a fun Autumn card in the works.  I hope you will like what I'm putting together.  See you tomorrow!! Christmas Card - BoBunny Papers

Image
Good Morning! Here's a Christmas card we made in class using the Sizzix On The Edge die for the holly and another Sizzix die for the leaping deer.  Sewing and a layer of vellum added texture to the card that was finished off with a white satin bow. Thanks for looking and happy crafting! Sheree The Rubber Room

Christmas Card - Authentique

Image
Good Morning! I have a Christmas card from last year that I'd like to share.  The papers are from Authentique and I wanted to show everyone that you don't need Christmas papers to create a lovely card.  We used black, cream and silver as well as the Sizzix Pine Tree die and a die for the sentiment. Thanks for looking and happy crafting! Sheree The Rubber Room

Masculine Card

Image
Good Afternoon! Here's a masculine card I made a while ago.  Once I saw the Fabscraps papers it didn't take me long tofigure out what to do! The stamp is Stampers Anonymous and the die cut is from Cheery Lynn done in copper mirror card.  Everyone loves the edges of the card and I achieved that with a Versamark pad and clear embossing powder! Thanks for looking!! Sheree The Rubber Room

Scrapbook Layout Challenge

Image
There was a layout challenge on facebook and I chose to submit this one of my mother and 'Skip' that was taken on their boat years ago.  I got the layout bang on but added the flags and chipboard.  Papers used were Fabscrap! Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!! Sheree The Rubber Room

Distress Background

Good Afternoon! This is one of my background techniques that I taught in a class in 2014.  This shows the colour combinations that can be achieved when blending different inks together.  Be careful not to overdo it! Mat the card abd accent with a black pen.  I love using the Opti-flow pens from Staples and they are acid free too! Thanks for looking! Sheree The Rubber Room

Fall leaves and Sprays

I just love this Sizzix die/embossing folder combo!  I like the outcome using Dylusions sprays, Distress inks, The Crafter's Workshop stencils and clear embossing powder to take it up a notch. Thanks for looking! Sheree The Rubber Room

Christmas Poinsettia

Good Afternoon! This is one of my favourite cards using one of my favourite dies!  Tattered Pointsettia by Sizzix can be used in so many different ways.   What you can't see is the shimmer spray I put onto the petals.  Make your own using Perfect Pearls powder mxed with water.  It's beautiful in real life.  I just wish I could get more of the background die! Thanks for looking! Sheree The Rubber Room

Let's Get Up and Running!!

I've been bad, and busy, so left blogging for a bit.  Now that I have loads of paper to play with.... I've been playing! After experimenting with different things I put together classes and not only shared my tips and tricks, I have had a blast with all of my friends and customers! I'm going to post a sampling of the cards we've been making and I'll post about techniques on our new journey.  Hang on because we're going to have a fun ride! Cheers, Sheree The Rubber Room
